Church Loo/ Disabled Toilet
In 2021 Emmanuel's bell tower roof was badly damaged by Storm Arwen causing water to flood down into our church loo which also serves as our disabled access toilet. The ceiling collapsed and caused water damage to the walls. The staircase and bell room above are also badly damaged and affected by mold.
This is our church's only disabled accessable toilet and is essential for church ministry. It needs a complete restoration to bring it up to modern standards including a hand dryer, baby change facilities and requirements for disabled access like an alarm and hand rails.
Sunday School Room
Our congregation is growing and we need a place to hold our Sunday School 'Mustard Seeds' so we can teach the next generation all about God's love for them.
We plan to use the old kitchen, but due to the leaking roof in the hall, there is water-damage and parts of the floor need replaced. The whole room needs revitalised inc new benches and sink etc.
Community Store Roof
To the people of Morecambe our Community Store has become well known as a place to grab a bargain and help people in need. The roof of the old church hall that houses the store is in very bad condition and constantly leaks. In order to keep our store open we really need a new roof but that can only happen with your generous giving.
